The Home Decor I'm Shopping for Fall
As the days start to cool and nights start earlier, I find myself becoming more and more of a homebody. Fall is when home becomes the focus again—through gatherings with friends and quiet evenings (well, at least the evenings get quiet after the girls go to sleep).

When it comes to updating our home for fall, I like to bring in things slowly with objects I know I’ll love and use for years. This season, that means natural textures and materials that feel grounding and connected to the earth: marble, ceramic, wicker. They add warmth without trying too hard (and in some cases, they even help keep our home a bit more tidy—always a plus).

Below, a few things I’ve recently added to cart.

1. I am so impressed by Aimee Song's collection for Lulu & Georgia! This scalloped earthenware bowl is a unique piece that is neutral enough to work with your existing decor, but distinctive enough to stand out.
2. Rechargeable lamps are really useful, but can we be honest about how so many of them are ugly? Not this one, which has a simple modern shape in a glossy maroon finish. I'd use it to light up an awkward corner or bookshelf.
3. The holiday hosting season is almost here, and I can't wait to throw a dinner party or two. I've got my eye on this set of clementine-shaped place holders. They're more fun than formal, and when they're not in use, they come together to form a clementine that can be displayed as-is.
4. Speaking of hosting, a reminder that napkin rings don't have to feel fussy. These napkin rings are minimalist but still add a little shine to the table, and since they're brass, they'll develop a beautiful patina the longer you have them.
5. Candlelight instantly changes the mood of a room, so I love to have a variety of candles on hand. While you can never go wrong with the simplicity of a white pillar candle, I think it looks even better on a small piece of marble.
6. Shoppe Amber Interiors is one of my favorite sources for those little finishing touches that perk up a neutral room. This handmade ceramic tray is perfect for organizing keys, jewelry, or any other small items—and I can't believe it's only $32!
